Whether you’re a gym bunny, fitness fanatic or reluctant exerciser, Four Seasons Fairways is the perfect place to escape for a week of warmth, sun, sumptuous Mediterranean food and Active Living. 

Fronted by Olympic Champion, Amy Williams, we put together a package where you can enjoy the stunning Ria Formosa nature reserve, a scenic swirl of seawater lagoons, sandy islands, salt marshlands and diverse bird life, making it the perfect setting for walking, running and cycling. Activities can be tailored to suit all ages, levels and fitness abilities.

Explore the Ria Formosa with Amy Williams

We are welcoming back our Active Living Ambassador,  Amy Williams MBE for an exclusive and fun filled Active Living Week from 19th to 26th November. 

Amy will guide guests through gentle but effective yoga-inspired mobility sessions, a scenic inland hiking trip where you’ll explore rural Algarve at its finest, a 5km run through the breath-taking Ria Formosa nature reserve, and whole-body burn classes, with personal tips and insights along the way. Using her expertise as an elite athlete, she’ll tailor exercises depending on ability and strength level, so no matter whether you’re a beginner or an expert, you’ll leave on an endorphin-fuelled high. Another highlight and to round off the week, will be a sumptuous Gala Dinner where Amy will take to the floor with a captivating talk on her life experience.

Week Schedule


  • Arrivals 


  • 18:00 – Meet & Greet with Amy over welcome drinkS


  • 10:00 – Amy’s Session #1 – Yoga inspired Mobility Class
    This will be a gentle mobility session and stretch, working your whole body. Steadily flowing through a routine from head to toe. You will feel relaxed and energised at the end.

  • 15:30 – Amy’s Session #2 – Perfect Posture – Upper Body
    Wake and get the body fired up and working. This class will get your endorphins flowing. A whole-body workout to get the heart rate high and the body working. All levels welcome, there will be different levels per exercise.


  • 10:00 – Amy’s Session #3 – Whole Body Burn
    A workout that will get your muscles working hard in a short amount of time! Working back to back exercise targeting your whole-body – arms, back, glutes, legs and core. Mobility to start, Core activations, then heading into a wonderful body burn. Different examples of exercises will be given for each ability and strength level. Something for everyone. Finishing with a stretch.

  • 15:30 – Amy’s Session #4 – Stretch It Out
    Stretching keeps your muscles flexible, strong, and healthy, maintaining a range of motion in the joints. Without it, the muscles shorten, becoming tight and weak. Let’s lengthen them out in this slow paced class as we work through the muscles of your body.


  • 10:00 – Hiking with Amy
    Discovering the  Algarve: a guided walk into the rural Algarve, with lovely treasures to discover and accompanied by Amy Williams. A small fee will apply. You may drive to the meeting point or join the organised return transfer. 


  • 10:00 – 5Km Run with GM & Amy

  • 19:30 – Cocktail followed by Gala Dinner (with supplement)
    Dinner organised in favour of local charity, Associação EXISTIR in Loulé. Amy will address her experience in the Olympic games through her book “Talent to Triumph” with her talk “Achieve your impossible”.  This will be an opportunity to celebrate life and a great & fun week with Amy and us.
