We are excited to announce the opening of our brand new crèche facility, perfectly complementing the new “Upside Down World Kids Club” for older children that opened in 2018. Guests aged six months to two years old will be able to enjoy an exciting new play area, designed specifically to cater to their every need and with particular emphasis on sensory play to help support and develop creativity and your little ones’ imaginations.
Babies and toddlers have the chance to explore and discover their environment through a range of age appropriate activities that have been designed to stimulate their senses and expose them to new experiences, textures and materials. There is plenty of space, a kitchen and dining area and cots for nap time, with safety being the utmost priority so parents can enjoy some much-needed, stress-free time out. The crèche offers time for free play, story time, puppet theatre, music and movement sessions, yoga, art and messy play activities focused on developing motor skills and sensory play to support learning and development.
The team of four managing the crèche and Kids Club include Marcia, whose area of expertise and passion lies in creating fun, engaging and educational activities, with her number one priority being the safety and wellbeing of children in her care. You can always count on Alexandra, the resident babysitter, to be energetic, kind, responsible and fun, ensuring your child will always be smiling from ear to ear. Elodie, the resident nutritionist, believes that a healthy child is a happy child, whilst Laura, a trained psychologist, believes in providing a nurturing and safe environment to allow children to be themselves. Open Monday to Friday for babies and toddlers from May to October and every Tuesday and Friday from November to May, the crèche offers morning and afternoon sessions (10am – 1pm and 2pm – 5pm).
