Project Silver
is Complete!

Over the past 8yrs, including the pandemic period, we have been working tirelessly to complete the refurbishment and total overhaul of our villa portfolio with the final 25 villas being completed in April 2022. The heart and soul of the resort is The Clubhouse, which launched back in 2018 having been totally re-developed. It is now home to a glass walled wine cellar, indoor-outdoor bar, two heated swimming pools and a spectacular ‘Upside Down World’ Kids Club. Its gourmet offering is also world class with Amara, an intimate restaurant serving contemporary cuisine with a Portuguese influence and VIVO Bistro & Cocktail Lounge.

The outcome of Project Silver is simply stunning and most importantly, the feedback from happy guests and loyal members indicates it’s been a great success and places the resort in a very strong, competitive position in the marketplace, with an exceptional product.

New Projects

Upcoming Projects

Specific areas that have been identified for imminent change and upgrades include the Minimarket and a brand-new outdoor terrace dining area for Amara with works due to commence for both simultaneously in November 2022 with estimated completion February/March 2023.

Our D’época Grocery Store will offer a complete range of products from freshly baked bread to local wines as well as international newspapers and toiletries. You can pre-order prior to your arrival at Fairways. We also provide a delivery service to your villa for a small fee.

Above the new minimarket will sit Amara’s brand-new outdoor terrace dining area which will expand the restaurants capacity and allow for an exquisite al fresco evening dining experience with unbeatable views and food to match.

Ongoing maintenance and general resort upgrades

Villas

The long-term plan is to maintain villa standards and quality for the future with ongoing upgrades to soft furnishings both inside and out alongside more structural upgrades such as new windows and doors to improve overall comfort and in turn energy efficiency.

General Resort Upgrades

Various areas of the resort will benefit from investment in the coming years including the ladies changing rooms which will be redeveloped to match the quality of investment elsewhere in the resort, new buggy for member and guest transportation, children’s and teenager’s playground and activities, the resurfacing of roads within the resort, developing new activities such as considering Padel Tennis and an upgrade to the information centre.

IT & Technology

Four Seasons Fairways is looking to take advantage of new and enhanced technology to improve the quality of services provided to members. Although this is very much behind the scenes work, emerging technologies play a pivotal role in businesses development and investment in this area is vital to ensure smooth running of the resort in the years ahead.

Sustainability

A long term plan to make operations more sustainable is not only a duty but is imperative in the future strategy of Four Seasons Fairways both at a structural and operational level with a number of initiatives having already been implemented and which will be communicated in due course. In terms of energy savings, the implementation of solar lighting throughout the resort is being discussed along with the installation of photovoltaic panels for energy production or solar panels to heat water.
